Maybe you noticed that the design of our website changed as of today. The part of the project Chillpill that connects us with Live Band I. i.e. the band that prepared and played concerts for you in theatre Arena in 2007, ends for us. You, the fans, are nervous and musicians from the band are nervous as well. The thing we want to announce to you today and the thing we have been promoting on the site for a long time, is real today. CHILL PILL LIVE BAND II exists. Changing repertoire of the band forced us to also change its line-up. We succeeded to get together a group of really unique musicians. We're sure that everyone who will attend planned concerts, or will buy a DVD/BluRay will have a "lifetime experience". To cut it short, the leader of the band is Andrej Seban again, one of the most distinctive personalities of the Slovak music scene. Andrej is the one who will give final form to the whole production of Chillpill Live Band II, and whose guitar play will most definitely be the pinnacle of almost every "thing" that will be played at the concert.

Another member of the bend is Mark Mondesir, who is considered to be one of the most inventive drummers in the world. Mark is complemented by his brother Mike on bass guitar. Joint performance of Mondesir brothers is as rare, as it will be legendary. Gary Husband will be playing on keyboards; he is regarded to be one of the best keyboardists that play drums, and the best drummer that plays keyboards. We're not sure which is better.

Note that already with this line-up we have two drummers, and we didn’t even mention another member of Chillpill Live Band II, Stefan Bugala, who will now be acting as a multi instrumentalist (vibraphone, percussions, keyboards and drums). Last member of this sextet is Michal Bugala, who will play guitar.

The band led by Andrej will start with the practice for a new concert on February 1, 2010. It will consist of songs that should be released on CD Chillpill Nothingleft. The concerts themselves will take place on March 3, 4, and 5, 2010 in Bratislava. The decision on performance of concerts exclusively in Bratislava was not made easily. The main reason was that we have the possibility to play all concerts in controlled, familiar and for our needs almost ideal environment. All concerts will be recorded in high definition again, and they will be released as soon as 2010 on DVD or Blu Ray.

Photos and samples from concert preparations will be added in FAN CLUB section of the website, which is accessible after free registration for fans of the band. We will also be irregularly announcing contests, in which the winners will be able to participate on band practices and see the creation of "it" live. We will be gradually announcing further details, including the location of concerts and ticket purchase method. Stay with us.
